Registration Information:

South Metro Human Services is a non-profit agency committed to improving the lives of adults with mental illness and/or chemical dependence in the Twin Cities metro area. We have been at work for over 25 years providing outstanding and cost effective services that are critical to low-income individuals affected by this disease.

The 5th annual Building Strength 5K Run/Walk will benefit South Metro Humans Service’s Building Strength Fund. All proceeds will go toward increasing the independence and quality of life for community members challenged by mental illness.

Come join us on September 10, 2016 at Battle Creek Park in Maplewood, MN.

You can participate as an Individual or a Team.

Why form a team?

  • Train together and encourage each other. A team provides great motivation to reach a personal goal and you can enjoy time with others.
  • Team participation creates great community visibility for a company or organization. Show your company/organization’s spirit at the race!
  • Make a commitment to a healthy lifestyle with your friends, family, and/or co-workers!
  • Our 5k is not like any other, it’s a celebration and your team can enjoy it together!

You can create a team with as few as four people. Here is how you do it? Form a Team, choose a name and pick a team captain. The captain will set up the team name when registering once that is done each team member can then register under that team name.

Pricing and Deadlines:

$30.00 - Before the day of the race

$35.00 - Race day registration
